What this means for Origin Energy customers is that standard tariff 11 will increase 13.8%, off-peak tariffs 31 and 33 will increase 55% and 49% respectively, and the daily service fee will increase by a whopping 125%.
To crunch the numbers, the average four-person household in Queensland that uses 21.73 kWh on a daily basis will have to pay $101 more on their next quarterly electricity bill!
